Try this warming blend of apple juice, apples, lemon zest, fresh ginger, and pumpkin pie spice.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup (240 ml) apple juice
2 Tablespoon (320 g) apples, halved, seeded
1 slice lemon, ⅛" thick
1 Tablespoon (3 g) fresh ginger root, ⅛" slice
¼ teaspoon pumpkin spice

DIRECTIONS

1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed.
3. Blend for 2 minutes, using the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades.

Chef's Notes

This smoothie is nice and warm, with just enough spice to help you during those cold winter months.
