Vitamix are issuing an important safety notice in regards to Vitamix 225 ml and 600 ml blending containers, and blade bases which are compatible with certain Vitamix® Ascent® and Venturist® Series blenders.

Our customer’s safety is our first priority. This is why we are communicating this safety notice in relation to the following accessories for Vitamix® Ascent® and Venturist® Series:

  • 225ml (8oz) Blending Bowl
  • 600ml (20oz) Blending Cup
  • Blade Bases

Through rigorous and ongoing quality-inspection program, Vitamix have identified a potential safety issue. It is possible that the container may separate from the blade base, exposing the blades and posing a laceration hazard.

Consumer safety is our top priority, and we are fully committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and service. To remedy this issue, Vitamix are offering a free repair kit to consumers, which includes a protective plastic shroud to be attached over the blade base, along with additional instructional labels.
