Lavender Sea Salt Scrub

Substitute any other essential oil you would like to this salt scrub to suit your mood. We recommend using a separate Vitamix® container for making cosmetics, to avoid the risk of contamination of food products.

INGREDIENTS

2⁄3 cup (160 ml) sweet almond oil
2 teaspoons vitamin E oil
14 drops lavender essential oil
2 Tablespoons dried lavender, blossoms 1 cup coarse sea salt

DIRECTIONS

1. Add the ingredients to the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to Variable 4. Blend for 10 seconds.
3. Stop the machine and portion out the scrub into individual gift jars.
4. Place into a freezer for 3 – 4 hours un????l completely set through. Once frozen, remove from the freezer and break into 12 – 14 pieces and store in a freezer safe container or bag un????l ready to serve.

Chef's Notes

This exfoliating scrub is best used in the shower to reinvigorate your skin. Be sure to wash off thoroughly with warm water after use. Be careful, as the shower may become slightly slippery after use.
